Antonia Ferrà, born in a Majorcan family with many artistic interests, has grown up as a singer to become one of the best female voices not only in Majorca, but also in Spain. Just give her the time.
Her musical training has been varied and eclectic. Always interested in music, as a child Antonia took up guitar lessons, and she started to accompany the chords with her voice, her best instrument. Even though she's already said to be one of the best singers in Majorca, she's currently improving her technique in vocal training in Barcelona, where she has studied modern music at the Conservatory of Liceo and schools linked to it.
In April 2009, she has studied the first two courses of Estill Voice Training Systems (VOICE CRAFT):Level One "Figures for Voice" and Level Two "Figure Combinations for six voice qualities", offered by Paul Farrington and Helen Rowson in Barcelona.
Antonia Ferrà is a very versatile artist, as she touches very different styles, such as soul, R&B, gospel, jazz, pop, rock, funky...
Apart from playing in her own bands, Antonia Ferrà has never hesitated to contribute to other bands, both in concert or in the recording studio. Among other contributions, the song "Leave Something Here" that she sang with the american singer D7 on the Disc "Perceptions of Pacha" of the wellknown DJ Kiko Navarro; the duet with Delay's singer in the single "Me Acuerdo de Ti", incuded in Delay's demo and David Santamaría's song "Hey, Muchacho" are worth mentioning.
Apart from her musical interests, Antonia has tried other artistic fields, like theatre or contemporary dancing .
